Permanent Vacation was brought to life in 2011 by lifetime skater and North Carolina native, Subhan Anwari (Sub).  He spent many years working in nearly every side of the skateboarding industry from distribution at Eastern Skateboard Supply, to managing retail at North Carolina's Skate Capital: Endless Grind.  Being so closely involved with the NC skate scene, Sub quickly became friends with some of the most notable names in the North Carolina skateboarding including Chet Childress, Kenny Hughes, Bob Reynolds, Reggie Barnes and more.
